Report: Broncos receiving trade calls for WR Jerry Jeudy

Teams are interested in dealing for third-year Broncos wide receiver Jerry Jeudy, per ESPN's Adam Schefter.

Jeudy, the Broncos' first-round draft pick in 2020, has had a turbulent career struggling to meet high expectations. The former Alabama star hasn't made a Pro Bowl and has only five touchdowns in three seasons.

Denver's revolving door at quarterback position to Jeudy's struggles. He has played with six different quarterbacks since arriving in Denver.

The Broncos thought Russell Wilson would transform Jeudy into an elite receiver. However, the experiment is failing. Denver is ranked last in scoring offense. Jeudy has caught less than 50 percent of his targets this season.

The Broncos need draft picks. They traded two first-round picks to acquire Wilson in March. They could use Jeudy as a bargaining chip to garner more draft capital.

Multiple teams would be willing to trade picks to see if they could turn the 23-year-old into a future star. A trade helps Jeudy salvage his career. Also, a possible deal allows the Broncos to draft future offensive stars to build around Wilson.

The NFL trade deadline is Nov. 1 at 4 p.m. ET.
