The Los Angeles Clippers are headed to the playoffs after another successful campaign from Kawhi Leonard and company. The team is eager to finally win an NBA championship that has eluded them since their foundation in 1970.

While hopes are high for Clippers fans, they understand that they’re not among the heavy favorites to win the title. The Western Conference is full of tough teams that can win the title if they play well enough and the stars aligned in their favor.

Clippers owner Steve Ballmer felt the atmosphere and did something nice for Clipper Nation in an effort to boost everyone’s morale before the start of the most important games of the season.

Steve Ballmer foots the bill during the Los Angeles Clippers’ final regular-season game

Steve Ballmer wanted to thank the fans who supported the Clippers through thick and thin throughout the season. He understands that giving them something would go a long way to securing their support for the coming season.

Bleacher Report posted about his most recent action that made Clippers fans love him even more:

it’s a good publicity move for the Los Angeles Clippers that their owner is willing to shoulder such an amount for a fanbase that continues to show up for the team despite sharing stadiums with the Los Angeles Lakers.

Do the Los Angeles Clippers have a shot at winning it all this year?

The Clippers have the Dallas Mavericks as their first-round opponents in this year’s playoffs. Looking at their previous postseason matchups , the Clippers have the edge over Luka Doncic and the Mavs.

However, Luka has another potent scorer for a teammate in Kyrie Irving, and this could spell trouble for the Clippers if they’re unable to stop them. While Leonard and George aren’t slouch defenders, it will take the rest of the team to stop the dynamic duo from doing whatever they want on the floor.

This series promises to be an exciting one for the neutral NBA fan, and long-time Los Angeles Clippers supporters hope that their current postseason trend against the Mavs continue and carry on all the way to the Finals.
