And we're off....

So far we are off to a shaky start, me included. I agree with my "the other number 5" Mr. McNabb when he says he hates losing, but all we can do is put in more work and bounce back like juvy! We are a very young team so it is important to watch a lot of film and get our rhythm in the gym. Hey that rhymes! Lol. I can't wait to get Stack Jack back but we have to just lose ourselves to the game every night. I want to welcome 'Melo to the yard, definitely a pleasure to have you here, ya dig! I'll holla!!

The season is here!!!

Opening night is here and its time to get it crackin. BAAAAAAYYYYY AREEEEEEAAAAAAA! The Belief starts now!!!!! My boy stack jack is out the first 7 games, so we must hold it together until he returns. This is absolutely the toughest schedule I have ever had in my career, so that's definitely a challenge, but the team is coming out running like prison break. Ya dig! On and Off the court...

Yesterday we played well, but we are still a work in progress! Our young guys are coming along. The seattle game was a good learning experience for them. In overtime, Bellinelli, B. Wright, and Lasme all stepped up. They are a great group of new talent!! Off the court, I had my 10 year high school reunion. Man, I'm getting old. Everyone in my class looks young! Felt like old times in the alley with the homies. Cash, Ken Su, Amir, Rob, Kate Hudson, Kate G, Kristi and all of my other classmates were there, it was great to see everyone doing so well. If you want to see some pictures, you can see Kate Hudson and I in last weeks Life and Style Magazine, if you haven't picked it up, you need to. Before I leave, I also want to just say I'm extremely happy because I just finished the deal to do a fantasy basketball game in China, I'm super excited, ya digg!! Just thought I would drop a quick line.. ill holla!!

Strange Days

My heart goes out to the people in SoCal who are caught in the fires. Everyone say a prayer for those in need! I was watching 360 last night in the Seattle hotel and besides the fires there's a drought in ATL, flooding in the N.O., its still summer weather on the east coast (people wearing shorts in beantown in October) I am starting to get worried, these are some strange days, and if you include the ongoing war in Iraq, that just furthers my point. We have to start to change our actions as people on this planet! War is not the answer. The human race is far too advanced to continue acting like barbarians. Just thought I'd vent a little because you are my people. Let me know what you think about our current state of existence?? I'll Holla? Warriors Book Club

I have been in thinking mode lately. Been creating some cool concepts and ideas while traveling. When it comes to music, John Mayer, Ben Harper and AK. Not 47, but the most talented Alicia Keyes is what I'm listening to. One of my goals for this season is trying to relax a little more on the court. I think I have been rowdy and excited cause the season is here. I tend to feel like a kid in the candy store early and get charged up and even some times too hyped up, believe It or not! Lol. But those three artists are getting me in a nice groove. Groovy baby! Our team, we are improving and bonding. We even started a book club and yes Steve Jack is a member. Take that haters. Ballers do read, write and count. 50 cent I get it!!!! Jk. I took some time out to go see Eastern Promises, if you haven't seen it, you should. I can't wait for American Gangster and stack jacks Slam article to come out, check them both out.
