CONGRATS TO USA BASKETBALL

Stayed up late to watch the gold medal game in Beijing last night. What a game! I gotta shout out the 2008 Redeem Team for reclaiming the gold for the USA.
Kobe is a phenomenon - those fourth quarter 3s were killers! Wade looks like he is seriously back for 08-09. No other team in the world would have Dwayne Wade coming off the bench except on Playstation. And LeBron is still the King. But with all the talent there, they still had to play unselfish, play defense, and play together to beat Spain.
BTW, Spain balled their asses off - can't wait till Rubio makes it to the league. He's a gem. Portland should be nice too, with Oden AND Rudy Fernandez coming in (did you see that nasty one-hand over Dwight Howard, are you kidding???)
But I'm so proud of our guys. That was truly the way to rep Red White and Blue. It would be an honor to play for the gold in London 2012 to keep the Olympic title where it belongs, here in the US. What a dream come true. I can hear the crowd now chanting: USA USA USA!

And you're right , that dunk over Howards was insane ! I would have never expected that.

the only thing the team missed these olympics was some sweet sweet boom coming off the bench, like who is jason kidd anyway? but like you said that's why we have playstation!!

Yeah im happy for the Redeem Team for winning the gold...they played hella hard in every game. As much as im not a Kobe fan I gotta admit that his game was sick and he killed it! And spain was good too...shout to them because they were better than I thought they would be. Baron yeah you need to play for the US 2012 that would be dope!

Classy B-Davis. Nice shout out to my PNW boys and the posterization of DH too. We are happy to have Oden, Rudy, Jerryd, Brandon, LaMarcus, Travis, Martell, Blake, Pryz, Frye, Diogu, Sergio, Batum and even Raef coming back ferocious. Ever wish you could play for the best city and richest owner in sports? We were hoping you'd think about it... You are one of the good guys worth rooting for outside a Blazer jersey. I'm with you BD, can't wait for Ricky to join the NBA. I've been a fan of his for a while now. I mean the guy is only 17 and he's already this good?! He's just amazing.
And definitely look out for Fernandez and the Blazers next season, Portland is going to be good! -
Congrats to Redeem Team! As much as I don't root for Kobe because he is arrogant, fake, an MJ-biter, and plays for the Lakers, I got to give him his effin' props. I was hoping he made those threes and he did it. I don't hate the player enough to root against America. Even his most stubborn haters have to give him his kudos. He was heroic. He was the MAN in the 4th. For the first time in years, I thought he was clutch in a closeout game. So happy for those guys. Love the pic on ESPN.com where they all seem happy in a circle. Nice camraderie. Wade is back. Was MVP for Team USA throughout. He's going to be top 3 for MVP candidates next to Bron and CP3. I hope to see the BOOM rep us in 2012! Just stay healthy, man. Already wearing red, white, and blue in your city baby!

Yea Boom I was up late too watching the game! Congrats to all the players on the "Redeem Team", I thought it was great how they all worked together to complished an amazing goal. Once again congrats to Team USA and good luck to everyone this upcoming NBA season!

I think Rudy has a lot of potential. He just needs to bulk up, drive more to the basket, and defend better. If he does that, he'll be a perennial all-star in the NBA.

I saw Ricky play since he was a 14 years old and I Can tell you that You didn see how good is ricky rubio, He is way better than he showed on Spain NAtional team just because Spain have great players, but this season on euroleague you will see the real RR, and you could see him against Brandon Jennings....

BOOM Dizz in the olympics, that would be awesome. I know you would have been able to contain JUan Carlos Navarro. It was kind of embarrasing watching Deron Williams and Paul get torn up By Navarro. I like J-Kidd on the team he is a leaderbut the other two guys are both overrated. Systyem point guards. It is good thing Kobe was on the team so somebody could guard Juan Carlos when he got hot. I will start campaigning for BOOM in 2012
