Not the start I was expecting

Like I said yesterday, the Lakers are the Western Champs and they proved it. We got smacked in the mouth; period, point blank. It got to the point where I was admiring the way their team looked top to bottom.
What doesn't kill you makes you stronger, and there was a lot to learn from that game. We are still a work in progress. But, that's the kind of defense we have to play to be successful. That's the play we have to aspire to.

the guys kept up good in the begining! it's your first time together as a team-you know better than we do. that all play takes time as a whole. (so i have faith in the team) it's only one game it will come together. trust you (oh yeah by the way u still have your moves-i would play with you any day) GANGSTA.

Last night proved it... They gave the game winning shot to AL ( I want to be traded!! ) OMG please come back! The last 28 seconds of the game were terrible.. I did turn back and forth to watch you play the lakers! You got some hops boom! Didn't know you could jump that high!

BD they did give that ass something proper. But its early still and Camby on the bench didn't help. Not saying you would've won but it might have been a respectable loss. But i'm still rooting for the real LA team those clippers

3 steals on kobe and a 40 point loss to boast about. The only excuse I could use last night was wait til we get camby back, there will be no more layups, thornton looked good, and tim thomas looked inspired for a while, but what the hell is up with kaman and mobley, they played disgusting.
What killed the game was with one minute to go in the 1st you come out, we are up 1, with 7 to go in the 2nd you come back in we are down by 12, and dunleavy messed up when he did not stop it soon enough. NEXT time you guard kobe and put mobley on fisher, you got kobe on lock baby come on. -

I know one thing, he is going to stick it to the Robert Rowell Warriors, and Baron is a competitor he falls down and gets right back up, last time I checked the season isn't one and done, Isn't there like 81 more games? It's too early to say they suck, but the Warriors suck for not keeping him in Oakland. Still a Baron Fan.

My facebook update after the GSW loss to NO states: "The Baron factor was evident - and misssing." GSW was like a body without a head. It was painful to watch the last three minutes from my post-BD over-priced seats. If you were there, we would have won and be beginning a playoff-level season. Not anymore. In any event, what is done is done. I officially became a Clipper fan after you joined. You will always be our MVP and all star. And your next game will be better - I am sure of it.

I updated my facebook profile after the GSW loss last night to say: "The Baron factor was evident - and missing." GSW was like a body without its head. Now, I am a Clippers fan and you will have better games this season than last night. I have two BD posters for my office - one of your dunk over AK and the other (being framed now) is an amazing photo (that a friend of a friend took from the floor) of you just after you let go of the game-winning shot against the Celtics. Pierce & Co. were watching as the ball went in....with no time on the clock. Now, since you are going to have similar performances for the Clippers I will require new shots of you to replace my old ones. I will frame those too as I have to keep it professional in my office for my clients, you know! Good luck with Denver! We miss you up here!

Boom it's all good! The season is young. Team chemistry takes a while to gel. Keep doing what you do, and it will all work itself out in the end. And this is coming from a diehard Laker fan. But I am not blind to the fact that the Clips have some potential talent. 1!

Man I was shocked when you joined the team (I remember yelling "YES" out loud when I heard we got you.
Baron I can go on and on, but even though you are home in LA, you know the Clips aint home.
I doubt you will ever be apart of anything like the 2006-07 Season.
You know who has the best fans and you know how much love the Bay gave you.
There is no way you will get the same love.
The Bay might still respect you, but the love aint the same (you are not gonna get the JRICH treatment)
I hope you think I am being Civil because I loved you on the Dubz and hated seeing you go, but you are now the Enemy (dodgers game against SF..come on).

Remember last year when the Warriors started 0-6 and still won 48 games? I haven't given up hope yet, man. It looks dishearterning right now. Are we jinxed forever? Been very disappointed in Kaman's efficiency. We need to fire Dunleavy, trade Kaman, and give more playing time to the new guys. I can't believe we rarely play Gordon and DeAndre for guys like Paul Davis and Tim Thomas.

Bah...you Warrior fans need to let go of the past....BD has gone Hollywood and Rowell sucks for not approving BD's 3yr deal that Mullin proposed. But whatever, just like the U.S, the Warriors are going thru change; Captain Jax is our leader now, Ellis will hopefully come back in full swing, Wright is blossoming and AL is on his way out.......I still believe!
BD...it was fun while it lasted, thanks for the memories and good luck in your new ventures.

Just stay patient. I'm sure that we have had one of the most difficult opening seasons (scheduling) in the NBA. Our schedule will loosen up. On the bright side, we're only like 1 1/2 games from 8th seed....

Followed you your whole career. Growing up in LA and always playing pick up all over the city, I remember seeing you once in the UCLA Wooden Center playing pick up with pros and you dunked on Bo Outlaw from around the top the dotted line off two feet. I was amazed how freakin athletic you are and knew you were going to be a star in the pros. Through all your injuries you still manage to stay on top as one of the best. I have seen your skills in person and its no wonder you do what you do to people every night on the court.
I am trying to find a way to reach you. I have a business idea for you I would like to discuss. I saw the funny video you have with Steve Nash at Venice and see you often with Adam Sandler. I would imagine you like movies, and also read your bio, and I was thinking you may want to be a part of this great movie project I am working on. The script is amazing, witty, high caliber, so funny, and I think once you read it and see who is involved it may spark your interest. I can promise you this is not an ameteur film and you will not be wasting your time. I am a broker, and randomly, I just thought you might be a perfect match and have serious interest just basing it on my intuition about what I think you might like.

It looks like your decision to leave Golden State has weakened both teams. It will take awhile before GS makes there way back to a contending team, but in some respects, there is a nucleus in GS. I haven't followed the Clippers, but your record won't help you get much attention. Your very conspicuous won/loss record leads me to conclude that your in for a rough season. Well, at least you got your big contract, and now you can finish out your career fittingly! -
Z-Bo Is going to make this team much better. Great win. Feel better from the stomach virus. Let's get 'em on this road trip.

I love you man. A big fan from the UCLA, Charlotte, and GS days. Im sorry about the slow start and tough losses the past few days, but remember... Dont give up...Dont back down...Dont lose confidence. The team WILL make the playoffs if you guys get your ish together. I can see the intensity rising the past several games - KEEP IT UP AND IT WILL PAY OFF. Some things I noticed: Your game seems so much better when you drive to the hole more frequently. Seems youve been taking a lot of 3's. I know youre an awesome shooter but good things will always happen going to the basket - open teammates, foul drawing, free throws, sick dunks ala posterizing AK47. 3's can win or lose a game, driving to the hoop is always good.
The team looks to be a little too much micromanaged for your style of play it seems. Trust your instincts as a point guard, trust your teammates, and good things will happen. Hope this helps and you somehow read this.

I read the recent article in Sports Illustrated. Obviously, it was mostly positive, but what troubles me about the article (and other commentators - like the Razor on KNBR) is the constant questioning of your community service and other interests. In an era when most athletes are self-serving, one dimensional and less than admirable (and get criticized for it), I find it peculiar that you are attacked for your community work, documentary work and being well rounded. What gives? Having grown up in Los Angeles, I understand your desire to return and help out the community while expanding your horizons. I don't understand why this is even questioned and criticized. Follow your heart. There is more than life than b-ball. Enjoy all aspects of it.

We started off badly but The Clips are getting better. Eric Gordon is the best rookie we ever had! Keep feeding him the ball Baron! I think we'll have a great 2nd half and make the playoffs.
