Warriors Book Club

I have been in thinking mode lately. Been creating some cool concepts and ideas while traveling. When it comes to music, John Mayer, Ben Harper and AK. Not 47, but the most talented Alicia Keyes is what I'm listening to. One of my goals for this season is trying to relax a little more on the court. I think I have been rowdy and excited cause the season is here. I tend to feel like a kid in the candy store early and get charged up and even some times too hyped up, believe It or not! Lol. But those three artists are getting me in a nice groove. Groovy baby! Our team, we are improving and bonding. We even started a book club and yes Steve Jack is a member. Take that haters. Ballers do read, write and count. 50 cent I get it!!!! Jk. I took some time out to go see Eastern Promises, if you haven't seen it, you should. I can't wait for American Gangster and stack jacks Slam article to come out, check them both out.

  No one tickles the ivories like AK. Its no surprise that she settles you into a good groove. We will have to get her sing the national anthem for this year's playoff games in Oakland.

  im feelin the ben harper dizzle...can you share some of the books ya'll read? glad to see your a fan of 48 laws of power...law 30 make your accomplishments seem effortless, half-court shots, one footed threes, 360 layups, and dunkin on russians...man oh man, how do you do it. holla.

  BD - three fine artists, for sure. But don't abandon hip hop. There's still plenty out there to keep you cool. Check out Galactic's record they put out with all sorts of different MCs like Chali 2na, Lyrics Born, and others. And since you're in the Bay Area, you should check out Tea Leaf Green. They'll definitely keep you mellow.

  Yeah i'm psyched for that Jay-z american gangster to drop, and the movie. And i didn't know you were a Nas fan. thats my boy. If your into poetry relevant to our times, we jst had a really legit group come through our campus. Their called ill-literacy and their based out of sacremento. They touch on a lot of current evetns, pop culture and racial issues. They've played under lauren hill and all over the world. They got a real talented brotha named Dahlak who i think you'd really dig. Check em out on youtube.

  Baron, I'm a very big fan, and I'd like to know if you've made the most important decision that this life has to offer...have you accepted Jesus Christ as your Savior? I can respect if this is an issue that you do not want to discuss, but you seem to have a beautiful spirit and I'd like to know what's really going on, on the inside. Thanks for the blog!
